After spending two years behind bars to create his cover, Vinnie is finally released. He reunites with his boss, Frank McPike, and reconnects with his coach and mentor, Jerry Greco. Tragedy strikes when Greco is murdered, prompting Vinnie to insist on being reinstated to complete the investigation. Utilizing his cleverness, he begins to infiltrate the Steelgrave crime family, but he knows it will take time to see this case through to the end.
