One-Who-Waits makes a comeback, bringing good news about Ed's father's whereabouts and taking him to the construction site where he’s employed. Ed secures a job and struggles to figure out how to reveal to the foreman that he’s his dad. Meanwhile, Mike asks Maggie to accompany him to a mountain range, hoping to identify the chemicals involved in a recent spill. At "The Brick," a blind man arrives, offering to tune and repair the piano, but he quickly begins to irritate Holling. To fend off Mike's romantic advances, Maggie shares her story about her “curse.”
