The actor travels to Syria, immersing himself in the Kurdish struggle against ISIS as he finds himself caught in sniper fire on the frontlines. While journeying through areas controlled by the Kurds to gain firsthand insight into the conflict, Ross encounters brave Kurdish fighters, both men and women, alongside those who have suffered under ISIS rule. Throughout his journey, he observes the emergence of a new Kurdish state known as Rojava.
