Libby steps in to assist Hurley as he starts to feel that the island is influencing him in unusual ways. He begins to hallucinate Dave, portrayed by guest star Evan Handler from Sex and the City, who was his companion in the mental hospital. Meanwhile, Locke's conviction wavers when a prisoner reveals surprising details about the hatch, challenging his understanding of their mission on the island.
