After overhearing a discussion in music class about a new show choir, Miri, Erin’s best friend, rushes to Savannah for details, hoping to land an early scoop on the auditions for herself and Erin. As the girls nervously wait their turn onstage, insults fly while guys and teachers look on alongside an official state judge. A group of multi-talented girls deliver impressive dance routines, solo songs, and a stunning piano performance at this East Valley Academy audition, with the results left as a cliffhanger. Meanwhile, struggling with family tragedies, Khalil, Griffin’s best friend, slits his wrists in front of the class and collapses.
