Soo Chul discovers that Dan Dan received an early paycheck and handed it over to Yeon Sil. Frustrated, he confronts Dan Dan to retrieve the money but is met with further disappointment when she expresses her wish to remain strangers. In a parallel storyline, Anna opts to stay at Young Guk's home for a while, wanting to be near Dan Dan during this tumultuous time.
