Sam and the VCTF delve into a string of deadly hit-and-run incidents occurring on secluded highways, where the only evidence consists of deserted vehicle wrecks. This pattern prompts Sam to suspect a trucker (guest star Jim Wilky) who appears to be haunted by a harrowing incident from his past. Meanwhile, George faces a life-threatening mugging during a robbery at a video store, while Bailey grapples with feelings of guilt regarding his rebellious teenage daughter (guest star Heather McComb), who is associating with a troubled group. Additionally, Angel feels grateful when John takes the time to address her art class.
