A self-important district attorney in New York clashes with police over a speeding violation. Meanwhile, in California, a driver, momentarily blinded by the sun, sends his SUV tumbling off a cliff. In Georgia, a heated argument between former girlfriends escalates, resulting in one being struck by a vehicle. Over in Ohio, an emergency services vehicle is rear-ended by a suspected drunk driver.
