A mysterious blue fog periodically envelops the Jupiter 2, prompting Dr. Smith and Will to express their desire for solitude. As crew members start to vanish when the fog rolls in, Dr. Smith fears he is the cause of their disappearances. Will eventually encounters a peculiar creature that takes control of Dr. Smith, revealing itself as Will's Id. It embodies Will's inner demons, emotions, and insecurities. By confronting and conquering his fears, Will ultimately defeats the creature, banishing it into the power core, and restoring his family's presence aboard the ship.
