Dr. Smith accidentally bumps his head on a rock and tumbles into a dark cave, where he stumbles upon a mummy. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew is racing against the clock, needing to launch at 8:00 AM, all while trying to figure out how to rescue Dr. Smith from his unexpected predicament.
