When the remains of a high school student who vanished two decades ago are finally discovered, Gil Young dives into the reopened case. Meanwhile, Hwa Pyung is convinced that Congresswoman Park Hong Joo is possessed by the vengeful spirit of Park Il Do. Gil Young, however, refuses to buy into the supernatural explanation and insists that Hong Joo is the actual murderer. Their conflicting beliefs pull them in opposite directions as the investigation intensifies.
