After a long chase, Gil Young finally corners Young Soo, but Hwa Pyung realizes he’s possessed and brings him to Yukgwang. She refuses to conduct an exorcism and instead calls for Father Yang and Yoon. Father Yang attempts to force the evil spirits out of Young Soo on his own, but the ritual fails—and in the aftermath, he takes his own life.
