Roseanne finds herself the center of Vincent's affection at school, but her home life is far from ideal. Her mother, Maggie, is entangled in an affair, leaving her alcoholic husband, Fred, furious when the truth comes to light. In his rage, Fred directs his wrath at Roseanne.
