Hero of the Red Light District (1960)
A wealthy textile factory owner from the countryside, adored by his workers for his generosity, struggles to find a wife due to a large birthmark that scars his face. Even the courtesans of Yoshiwara turn him away. But when a peasant woman named Tamarazu, bound by debt to the brothel, reluctantly agrees to serve him, she surprises him with her blunt, warm-hearted kindness.
