Set against the backdrop of Zola's Paris, Nana emerges as a naïve ingenue who swiftly discovers the power of her allure. Initially working as an actress for a soft-core filmmaker, she quickly rises to prominence as the city’s most sought-after courtesan, securing a lavish home through the generosity of a wealthy banker. However, Nana soon casts him aside for her neighbor, a noble count of great integrity, and his impressionable son. The count becomes increasingly submissive, bending to her desires and sacrificing his estate to appease her extravagant whims.
