Samantha leads her struggling band, the Zettabytes, when her tech-savvy friend Roscoe decides to intervene. He conjures a holographic singer named Loretta Modern using his father's advanced technology, and the group quickly skyrockets to fame. However, as success mounts, Samantha feels increasingly isolated, while Roscoe finds himself developing romantic feelings for her.
