Yosra El Lozy

**Yosra El Lozy**

Born in Cairo in 1985, Yosra El Lozy comes from a mixed Egyptian-Syrian background. Her father, Mahmoud El Lozy, teaches theatre at the American University in Cairo. Following in that academic environment, Yosra pursued a degree in Political Science at AUC, complementing it with minors in Theatre and Modern History.

Her professional acting debut came through Youssef Chahine's film "Alexandria..New York," in which she portrayed the younger version of Ginger. Beyond acting, she is an accomplished pianist and trained ballet dancer, and she enjoys playing soccer with her father. Singing is another area where her natural talent shines.

On campus, she appeared in numerous AUC Theatre productions, including "A Silly Goose," "The Sultan's Dilemma," "Sulayman EL Halabi," and "Reader." Looking ahead, she aspires to continue her education in International Law.
