Karla Homolka
Karla Leanne Homolka, who has also been known by names such as Karla Leanne Teale, Leanne Teale, and Leanne Bordelais, is a Canadian criminal infamous for her role as an accomplice in a series of heinous crimes alongside her former spouse, Paul Bernardo. Between 1990 and 1992, Homolka participated in the brutal rapes and murders of at least three young girls in Ontario, one of whom was her own sister, Tammy Homolka.
The crimes committed by Homolka and Bernardo shocked the nation and garnered widespread media attention, leading to what became known as the "Ken and Barbie killers" case, due to their seemingly perfect suburban life contrasted with the horrific nature of their actions.
