Martina Bezoušková
Martina Bezoušková, born Martina Gasparovič Bezoušková on January 9, 1961, in Prague, is a distinguished Czech actress and educator whose career spans both the stage and the classroom.
Her journey began with a solid foundation in healthcare, graduating from the Secondary Medical School in Prague 1 with a focus on dental laboratory work in 1980. However, her passion for the arts led her to the Academy of Performing Arts (DAMU), where she earned her MgA. degree in drama theater in 1984.
In recent years, Bezoušková has dedicated herself to nurturing the next generation of performers. Since 2014, she has served as a pedagogue at DAMU's Drama Theater Department. Her expertise extends beyond the university; in 2016, she began lecturing at Charles University's Faculty of Arts for the University of the Third Age. Since 2018, she has further broadened her teaching portfolio at both the Jan Deyl Conservatory and Secondary School and the Prague International Conservatory.
