Gao Taiyu

Gao Taiyu, originally named Yao Yang, is a talented Chinese actor hailing from Laiyang City in Yantai, Shandong Province. A graduate of the Shandong Art Institute, he made a significant mark in the entertainment industry with his debut in the 2013 film "Huang Feihong: Heroes Has a Dream," which launched his career.

In addition to his acting pursuits, Gao Taiyu ventured into music, releasing his debut solo single titled "Say Good Night When I Miss You." He also showcased his artistic side through a photo album, "The Profile of Animus," further highlighting his creative versatility.

After a decade in the limelight, on March 25, 2025, Gao announced his intention to retire from acting via a heartfelt message on Weibo. In his farewell note, he reflected on his ten years in the industry, expressing a desire to step away from the public eye and focus on personal endeavors. He plans to pursue various business ventures, indicating a shift toward a new chapter in his life beyond the entertainment spotlight.
