Alonso Duralde
Alonso Duralde is a prominent film critic and author, well-known for his insightful contributions to cinema, particularly in relation to LGBTQ+ themes. His notable works include "101 Must-See Movies for Gay Men," published by Advocate Books, and "Have Yourself a Movie Little Christmas" from Limelight Editions. Duralde serves as the film critic for The Wrap and Reuters, and his writings have appeared in a variety of esteemed publications such as Movieline, Salon, MSNBC.com, and HitFix.
In addition to his writing, Duralde co-hosts the popular Linoleum Knife podcast and frequently appears on the show What the Flick?! on The Young Turks Network. He plays a significant role in the film festival circuit as the Senior Programmer for the Outfest Film Festival in Los Angeles and as a pre-screener for the Sundance Film Festival. Duralde also offers his expertise as a consultant for the USA Film Festival in Dallas, where he previously held the position of Artistic Director for five years.
