Steve Dildarian
Steve Dildarian, born on November 3, 1969, is a distinguished American creator and former advertising copywriter, best known for his role as the creator, writer, producer, and voice of the main character Tim in the HBO animated series The Life & Times of Tim, which aired from 2008 to 2012.
Raised in East Brunswick Township, New Jersey, Dildarian pursued his higher education at Glassboro State College, now known as Rowan University. His early career in advertising saw him making significant contributions at renowned agencies such as BBDO and Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, where he honed his writing skills.
In 2006, he directed his creative energies into producing the animated short film Angry Unpaid Hooker, which garnered acclaim by winning the award for Best Animated Short at the U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. This film was instrumental in laying the groundwork for The Life & Times of Tim, showcasing Dildarian's unique animation style that draws comparisons to Mike Judge's Beavis and Butt-Head.
In addition to his work in television, Dildarian co-starred with MJ Otto in the web series KAB man, created for Keep America Beautiful. This series consisted of three five-minute episodes designed to promote environmental awareness and can be found on platforms like YouTube and the dedicated website, www.kabman.org. Through his diverse projects, Dildarian has made a notable impact in both animation and environmental advocacy.
