April Schutte is a talented performer who honed her skills at The Second City Conservatory in Hollywood, California. She gained recognition for her role in the cult classic film 'The Love Witch,' directed by Anna Biller. During her two years at Second City, April not only learned from some of the most respected teachers and improvisers in the industry, but she also shone in the premium sketch show 'Some F*cking Advice,' performing for a total of seven months across two successful runs. Her diverse portfolio includes numerous shorts, sketches, indie films, and music videos, showcasing her versatility as a performer. Notably, she showcased her improv talents in Season 1, Episode 4 of HBO's acclaimed series 'Mrs. Fletcher.'

In addition to her acting career, April is an award-winning burlesque dancer, performing under the stage name April Showers. With over 15 years in the burlesque scene, she has earned several accolades, including titles such as Miss Hollywood Burlesque, Most Classic, and Most Glamorous. April continues to captivate audiences with her monthly self-produced rock 'n' roll burlesque show, 'Sunset Strip Burlesque,' held at the iconic Rainbow in West Hollywood, along with various performances throughout Los Angeles. Her multifaceted career reflects her passion for performance and her dedication to her craft.
