Tyler Hoover

Tyler Hoover, born in 1987 in Wichita, Kansas, grew up in the heartland of the United States. He completed his secondary education at Andover High School before pursuing a degree in Political Science and Government at Wichita State University.

Tyler's professional journey began at FFC Midwest, where he worked as an opening coordinator and operations support. However, his true passion lay in the automotive world, which led him to create his YouTube channel, Hoovies Garage, on September 8, 2016. In just five years, the channel gained over 1 million subscribers and amassed more than 200 million views, showcasing his engaging content and unique approach to car culture.

In addition to his YouTube success, Tyler founded Ad Astra Automotive, although he eventually closed the business due to high operational costs. He also hosts a reality show where he purchases vintage cars from across the United States and drives them back to Wichita alongside his friend Brandon from Bright Bay Company. Moreover, Tyler contributes his expertise to various publications, serving as an automotive writer for AutoTrader and The Star Magazine. His multifaceted career reflects his deep passion for cars and storytelling, solidifying his reputation in the automotive community.
