Crystal Hayslett

Crystal Hayslett hails from Martin, Tennessee, where she cultivated her passion for storytelling and communication. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications and Public Relations from the University of Tennessee at Martin. After completing her education, she ventured to Washington, D.C., where she gained valuable experience working with the United States Senate.

In 2010, Crystal relocated to Atlanta to chase her dreams in the entertainment industry, focusing on music and acting. Her breakthrough came in 2011 when acclaimed director Matthew Cherry cast her in her first speaking role in the short film "This Time." She further showcased her talent with guest appearances on BET’s “The Game” and “Stomp The Yard 2”.

Her career took a significant turn in 2013 when she joined Tyler Perry Studios, initially in the Costume Department. By 2015, she had ascended to the role of Costume Designer and became the personal stylist for Tyler Perry himself. This opportunity opened doors for her to take on additional responsibilities, including consulting on projects and making guest appearances in Perry's popular series, "Sistas." As the show progressed into its second season, Crystal was promoted to a series regular, solidifying her place in the entertainment landscape and showcasing her multifaceted talents.
