Azeem Nathoo
Azeem Nathoo is a seasoned performer with more than two decades of experience in the entertainment industry. After completing his studies at McGill University, he honed his craft at the prestigious London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where he developed a strong foundation in acting.
Following his graduation, Nathoo spent four years working in the UK, where he gained valuable experience on both stage and screen. In 2008, he made the decision to return to Canada, which led him to join the renowned Stratford Shakespeare Festival in Ontario. This opportunity allowed him to showcase his talent in a variety of Shakespearean roles and further solidified his reputation as a versatile actor.
In addition to his work at the Stratford Festival, Nathoo is a proud member of Montreal's only independent theatre company dedicated to promoting professional actors of colour. Through this platform, he has contributed to increasing representation and diversity within the performing arts.
