Stephanie Northrup
Stephanie Northrup brings a rare versatility to screen and stage, seamlessly shifting between comedic timing and dramatic depth. She trained at the Ivanna Chubbuck Studio in Los Angeles and earned a BA in English Literature and Modern Studies from the University of Virginia, graduating Phi Beta Kappa.
Her recent work includes the feature film *Endless Love* (2014), directed by Shana Feste, where she starred alongside Bruce Greenwood, Alex Pettyfer, Joely Richardson, and Gabriella Wilde. She also appeared in Season II of the Cinemax series *Banshee* as the recurring character Meg Yawners, created by Alan Ball and directed by Greg Yaitanes. In *You Are Here* (2013), directed by Matthew Weiner, she played Bonnie opposite Owen Wilson; the film premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival. On television, she co-starred on Lifetime’s *Drop Dead Diva* as Lisa Hillman, a role that aired in July 2012.
Stephanie has also built a strong presence in independent film, starring in the 3-D horror film *Headsome* and appearing in *The Heart of the Country*, directed by John Ward. She is currently in production as Stella in *The 12 Lives of Sissy Carlyle*. Her first professional TV role was on *The Bold and the Beautiful*, followed by leading parts in the Western *Vengeance Trail* and the cult film *Scream Bloody Murder*. She guest-starred on *Meet the Browns* as British fashionista Ms. Jacobs.
On stage, Stephanie won Best Actress for her performance in *The Last Night of Ballyhoo* and earned acclaim for her comedic work in *Got Sketch?* at Sketchworks Comedy. A lifelong dancer, she trained nationally in tap, jazz, ballet, and modern, founded the University of Virginia Dance Company, and now studies flamenco. She has lived in Prague
