Jonathan Karl serves as the chief Washington correspondent for ABC News and co-hosts the political talk show This Week alongside George Stephanopoulos. He holds the position of President of the White House Correspondents' Association and is the author of the anticipated book "Front Row at the Trump Show," set to be released in March 2020. With a wealth of experience in covering U.S. politics, foreign affairs, and military matters, Karl has reported from over 30 countries, significantly influencing news narratives.

His impactful journalism has garnered numerous accolades, including the prestigious Walter Cronkite Award for National Individual Achievement and the Everett McKinley Dirksen Award from the National Press Foundation, which recognizes excellence in Congressional reporting.
