Zak Ford-Williams

Zak Ford-Williams, born in 1999 near Manchester, England, began his artistic journey with the Summerseat Players Youth Theatre. He developed his craft further as a member of the Manchester Royal Exchange Young Company for two years before earning his degree from the Manchester School of Theatre in 2020.

Zak's theatrical career is marked by significant roles, notably taking on the character of Joseph Merrick in the acclaimed touring production of The Real and Imaginary History of the Elephant Man in 2023. He also showcased his versatility in various parts in Mark Gatiss' adaptation of A Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story, performed at both the Nottingham Playhouse and Alexandra Palace in 2022.

In addition to his stage work, Zak has made a name for himself in audio productions, contributing to BBC Radio dramas such as Letter to Louis and Tinsel Girl. He also lends his voice to the Thimble series of children's audiobooks.

On screen, Zak's talent has been featured in productions for major networks and studios, including BBC Studios, Paramount, Netflix, ITV, Sky Drama, Channel 4, and Channel 5. His notable appearances include the BAFTA-winning short comedy Mobility (2023), Bridgerton (2020), Better (2023), and the upcoming series The Hardacres (2024). As an ambulant wheelchair user living with cerebral palsy, Zak serves as an inspiring figure in the industry, breaking barriers and representing diverse narratives.
