GISELLE
**GISELLE** (born Aeri Uchinaga, October 30, 2000) is a Japanese singer and rapper active in South Korea. She rose to prominence as a member of the K-pop girl group **aespa**, which debuted under SM Entertainment in November 2020.
As aespa’s main rapper and vocalist, GISELLE has contributed to the group’s rapid ascent, highlighted by major hits such as *Black Mamba*, *Next Level*, and *Savage*. Her lyrical contributions extend beyond performance—she co-wrote the rap verses for *Savage* and its B-side *Zoo*, showcasing her songwriting talent. GISELLE is also known for her fluency in multiple languages (Japanese, Korean, and English), which has helped aespa connect with international audiences.
