Rinke Khanna, born on July 27, 1977, is the daughter of legendary Bollywood icons Dimple Kapadia and Rajesh Khanna, and the younger sister of actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna, making her the sister-in-law of actor Akshay Kumar. She made her acting debut in 1999 with *Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi...*, which paved the way for a series of notable film roles. She gained wider recognition through performances in *Mujhe Kuch Kehna Hai* (2001) and the commercially successful *Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain* (2000). Her work in the latter caught the attention of the Tamil film industry, leading to a well-received role in the hit film *Majnu*.

Following this, Rinke appeared in the comedy *Yeh Hai Jalwa*, and had several projects lined up, including *Pran Jaaye Par Shaan Na Jaaye*, *Mango Soufflé*, and *Shafak*. She also had three Tamil films directed by Ravichandran and an untitled production from Pritish Nandy Communications. Her dance numbers, particularly "Musu Musu" from *Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi...* and "Kem Chhe" from *Jis Desh Mein Ganga Rehta Hain*, became popular highlights of her career. On a personal note, she was set to become an aunt in 2002 when her sister Twinkle welcomed her first child.
